WorldSkills Norway's mission is showcasing the value of skills, raising the recognition of skilled professionals and elevate the status and quality of vocational education. We do this by changing the image of vocational education and the labour market. For this purpose, we arrange and participate in vocational competitions, both domestic and international.
Every second year we hold the Norwegian SkillsCompetition, Yrkes-NM. The winners from this event – each the best in their respective profession – usually directly qualify into our Norwegian National SkillsTeam, Yrkeslandslaget. They go on to represent Norway in the European championships EuroSkills as well as the global WorldSkills Competition.
